Frequently Asked Questions
What is Stay Department?
We are not a fanbase, we are a streaming project. We will have other content on the website but our main focus is on streaming and helping Stray Kids chart as much as possible.
What is on the website?
On the website you will find guides for streaming and voting apps, as well as SKZ full schedule, content released, a to-do list for ongoing votings, translations of articles, and a forum for discussions and questions.
What are the rules of the forum?
1. Be concise – your points should be short and crisp
2. Be tactful- Respectfully state your opinions or ask questions. Rude behaviour will not be tolerated and your posts will be deleted.
3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images.
4. Do not bring in fanwars to the discussion or bad mouth other groups
5. Do not ask repetitive questions – Before posting your question to a discussion board, check if anyone has asked it already and received a reply.
6. Please refrain from “I agree” or “yes” replies
How do we avoid getting banned?
Follow the rules for all sections of the website (especially the ones involving spreading information from here)! It’s also good to use general common sense when interacting on our forums (ie: do not comment inappropriate things, rude content, etc).
How do I join the Stay Department?
In case of new recruitments we will open a form where required details to join Stay Department will be mentioned. Upon filling in the form, we will have a rigorous screening process but as long as you apply you will at least be considered.
How do I gain full access to the website?
There will be a page where you can sign up by filling up a form where required details to join the Stay Department will be mentioned. After you apply there will be a screening process, to check if you are really a Stay. You will receive an email from us if your application is accepted.
Where do we go if we have issues with our account?
How do we join a group chat for voting or streaming?
We will open forms where you can sign up to join the group chats, and monitors will screen you. If you are accepted we will send you the link to join the group chat, or directly add you to it.
If I can’t stream what can I do?
Donate your accounts of any Korean streaming apps or donate money to Stay Department! The money goes towards purchasing more streaming passes for our monitors to distribute.
Does the website only exist in English?
We are working on other languages for the website, but for now it’s only in English.
Project Frequently Asked Questions
What does the streaming project entail?
The streaming project is dedicated to help Stray Kids chart on Korean music platforms. In order to gain popularity and recognition, it’s important to do well on Korean charts. If you join our project, you will be divided in groups and help stream Stray Kids’ comeback.
How long do I have to stream?
Our project runs for 30 days every comeback, so you have to stream for 30 consecutive days.
Do I have to know Korean?
No need to know Korean, oftentimes there are translations or people who can help you out with how to navigate in different apps.
Why didn’t I get chosen to stream?
We do a strict screening process to pick stays who will dedicate their time to stream. There is a much bigger demand than what we have funds for, so unfortunately we cannot pick everyone and we have to make choices. Depending on different factors, we might not be able to give you a streaming pass.
How do I download a song? Am I streaming correctly?
For specific streaming questions, you will always be put in contact with one of our admins or monitors. Since a lot of this information is meant for STAYs only, we will only answer these questions in your respective streaming group near the comeback.
Where does my money go to if I donate?
Streaming passes of all sorts cost money. In order to cover as many passes as we can, we take donations of any amount. Therefore, our funds go to giving and buying streaming passes for STAYs. Our website also needs funds so donations are also used for the website, but it will always be explicitly noted, and you can request for your donation to go to streaming only (or website only).
